The mind-blowing 141-acre Aquaventure Water Park is the star of Atlantis Bahamas. In fact, it is the biggest water park in the Caribbean and the fourth largest in the world. It features 18 waterslides, kiddie splash areas, and 20 swimming areas. One slide even sends daredevils through a shark-filled lagoon via a clear acrylic tunnel!

Aquaventure also offers two river rides for your floating pleasure. For a relaxing family-friendly ride, the scenic Lazy River Ride transports swimmers through a tropical landscape. Those seeking more adventure will want to try out The Current, which moves guests via water escalators, rolling waves, and extreme rapids.

The first residents here were 17 dolphins and 10 sea lions rescued from Mississippi Gulf Coast after their original habitat was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. A wide range of top performers are showcased throughout the year as part of the Atlantis Live concert series from hilarious stand-up comedians to popular rock and country music stars. Past performers include Lady Gaga, Tony Bennet, Jerry Seinfeld, Jennifer Hudson, the Jonas Brothers, and Doja Cat.

The highlight is a signature Adventure Time water obstacle course featuring inflatable slides, climbing structures, trampolines, and more. Whether you bring your own gear or rent it at Atlantis Bahamas, there are several great spots for snorkeling including Paradise Lagoon and Cove Beach.   2. gone twice getting ready to go a 3rd time…its a beautiful place…a lot of walking…and a key here is get to know your taxi guy …we have a great one that is always available for us and a wealth of knowledge where the best places are the most authentic and the worst
