Ocean-Themed Suites
The Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach sits in a prime location along the Atlantic Ocean. Every one of the hotel’s 290 suites boasts a view of the sea, the intracoastal waterway, or the sixth floor pool deck. They’re all outfitted with a gourmet kitchen, Italian marble bathroom, and ample outdoor space, too. Around-the-clock room service and housekeeping add to the luxury experience and will leave you feeling thoroughly pampered.
A tour of the hotel revealed subtle nautical touches in honor of its beautiful beachfront location. Arched doorways, porthole-style windows, high-gloss wood, and ocean-inspired art are all part of the hotel’s sea-faring theme.
Impeccable Service
Atlas, the hotel’s lobby bar, is a great place to get some work done or relax with your travel mate. I enjoyed drinks and gourmet snacks tucked away in a comfy chair. Staff members were available but discreet and anticipated my every need. In a word, impeccable.
Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Pool and Spa
Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach’s expansive pool and spa reside on the sixth floor. Both offer sweeping views of the Atlantic. I jumped at the opportunity to spend a few hours soaking up some sun before returning to my frozen Minnesota home.
With cushioned lounge chairs and complimentary towels, it’s easy to drop by the pool area for a short break. Or you could spend all day frolicking here with the family. A poolside cafe offers bar fare and tropical drinks.
Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach for Families
Families will find the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach perfect for a stay before or after a cruise. Fort Lauderdale Beach lies just across the street. Plus, your stay at the hotel comes complete with a bike rental, two beach chairs, and a beach umbrella to enjoy. The hotel concierge is always at the ready to arrange plenty of family fun in the Fort Lauderdale area.
Suites have room for the family to spread out, with one-, two- or three-bedroom units. If bonding time is in order, each suite is equipped with a 50-inch TV for a family movie night after a long day at the beach. Pop some popcorn in the microwave or on the stove, and settle in!
Indulge at Terra Mare
Terra Mare is Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach’s signature restaurant. Located across from the beach, it offers elegant indoor dining or a two-tier outdoor deck from 7 a.m. daily.
Shared plating is encouraged through their large tapas style dishes. Additionally, solo dishes with a Mediterranean flare are a favorite. I satisfied my sweet tooth with a Belgian waffle here my last morning in Fort Lauderdale. The tropical morning breezes and sunshine made me long to stay another night or two.

A Note from The Animal Loving Travel Mama: I enjoyed a hosted stay at Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach for purposes of this review. As always, my opinions are my own.
My wife and I just returned from a 5 day/4nite stay at the Conrad. Hotel is great, but there is a Four season Residence being built next door. As a result could not use our balcony (Mon-Thur). Construction runs(8-5). It was loud by pool and beach.
Hi David – I’m glad to hear you liked the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach. It’s too bad that the Four Seasons construction caused problems during your stay! Hopefully they will be done building soon!
