Disney CEO Bob Iger’s goal was to build the best hotel pool in all the Hawaiian Islands when building Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. He may very well have succeeded.
Much of Disney Aulani‘s water fun can be found in Waikolohe Valley in the center of the resort. Waikolohe Pool is Aulani’s main pool, situated beside the resort’s beachfront cove. This zero-entry pool is a beautiful spot to swim and splash together as a family.
A lazy river named Waikohole Stream winds its way through palm trees and sweet-scented tropical plants. Look out for playful fountains that spray water at floating guests. A manmade volcano cave also bubbles up at swimmers from the river’s floor.
Additionally, Aulani offers two full-sized waterslides, five whirlpool spas, the Menehune Bridge splash structure, and Keiki Cove Splash Zone created especially for kids aged 5 and younger.
