1. Watermelon Mint Lemonade
This thirst-quencher is made from lemonade and watermelon syrup. Fresh sprigs of mint add a refreshing and pretty touch. Both my husband and I vote the Watermelon Mint Lemonade as the best of all Royal Caribbean’s non-alcoholic cocktails. Since it’s not overpowering, this mocktail pairs well with food.
2. Blueberry Nojito
Whereas other non-alcoholic mojitos taste bland, Royal Caribbean’s Blueberry Nojito has a definite kick. Formulated to taste like Sour Patch Kids candy in a glass, it has a lot of flavor. This mocktail is made from blueberry purée, lime juice, simple syrup, and fresh mint. A Blueberry Nojito would make a good dessert drink.
3. Shirley Ginger
This zippy beverage is fruity with a kick of ginger. If you’re a fan of Moscow Mules, then you’ll love a Shirley Ginger, made with orange juice, grenadine, lime juice, and ginger ale. I suggest ordering this mocktail as an apéritif before dinner at one of Royal Caribbean’s many cruise ship bars.
4. Strawberry Limeade
This light and zingy drink is a fun twist on a classic Strawberry Lemonade. Lime elevates this mocktail, giving it a more sophisticated feel. It’s made with strawberry, lime juice, and club soda. Order a Strawberry Limeade poolside as a fancy way to rehydrate.
5. Tropical Crush
Of the official Royal Caribbean Zero-Proof Cocktails, the Tropical Crush boasts the strongest flavors of the bunch. This tangy, sweet drink with tropical flair is formulated from pineapple juice, mango, and Red Bull Yellow Edition. Order this caffeinated mocktail with breakfast or whenever you need a pick-me-up.
6. Virgin Daiquiri
Royal Caribbean makes all sorts of daiquiris with or without alcohol for your sipping pleasure. Choose from raspberry, peach, strawberry, lime, and wild berry. Sometimes these will be topped with fresh fruits. Just don’t go bananas when your bartender tells you there are no Royal Caribbean banana daiquiris to be had.
7. Virgin Piña Colada
Nothing says vacation quite as well as this pineapple and coconut concoction. If you want to get extra fancy, then ask for a Virgin Miami Vice for a half Piña Colada, half Strawberry Daiquiri delight.
8. Shirley Temple
The favorite fancy drink of children and teetotalers since the 1930s, you can’t go wrong with a Shirley Temple. Sprite plus grenadine and a maraschino cherry combine in this classic mocktail. If you really want to splurge, then ask for extra cherries!
9. Virgin Mary
It’s the breakfast drink of champions who don’t want to fall asleep before noon: the Virgin Mary. This Bloody Mary sans booze is made with tomato juice and Royal Caribbean’s signature blend of spices.
10. Roy Rogers
This classic drink is simply cola mixed with grenadine and topped with a maraschino cherry. But it sounds way more fun when you order a Roy Rogers, doesn’t it?!
11. Heineken O.O.
Okay, it’s not really a mocktail but beer lovers who want to sip a brew without getting buzzed will appreciate alcohol-free Heineken O.O. onboard Royal Caribbean’s ships. (Cruisers must be of legal drinking age to order or drink Heineken O.O.)
12. Other Royal Caribbean Non-Alcoholic Drinks
Of course, you could stick to standard non-alcoholic drinks while sailing with Royal Caribbean, too. Fountain sodas, energy drinks, teas, juices, drip coffee, and premium coffees are available.

When sailing with Royal Caribbean, you can order drip coffee (regular or decaffeinated) for free or pay extra for specialty coffees, like lattes and cappuccinos. Look for a selection of syrups in flavors like hazelnut, cinnamon, vanilla, and more to add some pizazz to your cuppa Joe.
Also, on some larger Royal Caribbean ships, you’ll find Starbucks coffee shops selling all your favorites from Macchiatos to Frappuccinos and beyond.

- Coca-Cola
- Diet Coke
- Coca-Cola Zero

A Note from The Travel Mama: My husband and I were hosted aboard the Wonder of the Seas during its inaugural sailing. I did not receive any monetary compensation from Royal Caribbean related to this story. All opinions are mine, as always.
Hi! Are the mock tails unlimited? Do you know what the price is without alcohol and not using the beverage package. We’re just trying to decide if it’s going to be worth it. We just came back from an all inclusive resort and drank probably close to 6 mocktails a day
Royal Caribbean Zero Proof Cocktails (mocktails) cost $7 each without the beverage package. With the beverage package, they are unlimited. The Refreshment Package costs $29-$38 per day, depending on your ship. So, it looks like with 6 mocktails per person, per day, the Refreshment Package would save you money. If, however, you each have 3 mocktails per day — the math doesn’t work out. All beverage packages are meant to be used by one person. If you are caught splitting a pacakge, Royal Caribbean may revoke the package without a refund. Hope that helps! Cheers!
Hi,
On Royal Caribbean’s website for the Refreshment Package it doesn’t say included Johnny Rocket’s Shakes or any type of milkshake but reading on some Royal Caribbean blogs it says this is included. Also would an iced Frappe be classified as a premium coffee and be in the Refreshment Package? Could you please confirm?
Brett – Let me see if I can get some answers from Royal Caribbean…!
We just came back two weeks ago from 4 days on Freedom of the Seas with my three grand children and my daughter and her husband! It was the children’s first cruise and they had a ball and loved these drinks. I’m having the kids for the week and I would love to make them again for them but I’m having a hard time finding the link to the recipes. Can you help? Thanks So much!
Hi Mary – I’m so glad you had a wonderful cruise and that everyone enjoyed the mocktails! Unfortunately, I don’t believe Royal Caribbean shares the exact recipes for these mocktails. However, I do share the ingredients for each drink above so you could play around a bit and come up with similar beverages. Cheers!
Thanks for the article. My wife would like some FRE champagne or wine and a few NA Mimosas along with trying a few you listed. I see you can buy bottles of this to be delivered to stateroom, but are NA Mimosas and glasses of NA wine included in the refreshment beverage package or are they considered the same as the Heineken 0.0 beer where there is an upcharge?
Hi Jeremy,
Unfortunately, I’m having a hard time getting a hold of my contact at Royal Caribbean but I will reach out again to see if they can answer your question. I believe any NA wine or beer would be considered part of the Deluxe Beverage Package, though.
Cheers,
Colleen
Dumb question, if i have refreshment package is it include non alcoholic Heineken?
Thank you in advance!
Hi Daria – I don’t believe the Heineken O.O. is included in the Refreshment Package since it is a beer. I will check with Royal Caribbean PR, though!
Colleen, Did you ever get an answer on this? Trying to figure out which package I need and if the Heineken 0.0 is a “mocktail”.
Hi Chip – I’m sorry to say I didn’t get a response back to your question. I strongly suspect that Heineken OO is considered a “beer” and therefore not included in the Refreshment Package. I’ll follow up and see if I can get a final answer, though.
It is included in the Refreshment non-alcoholic package.
this is such a useful article! We’re planning a vacation soon with Royal and it would be great to still have a yummy cocktail without the alcohol! Sharing with our family group!
Ebony – Thanks so much for sharing with your family group! Hope you have a wonderful time on your Royal Caribbean cruise!

Monidipa – Exactly! No reason to have boring beverages just because you don’t want booze!
Hhhmmmm….this is a very tight one. I believe I’d begin with the package from Coca Cola and stay on the non-alcohol side!
Ntensibe – The Classic Soda Package is a great option if you want to stick to sodas but there are so many fun options (including all of these mocktails) in the Refreshment Package! Decisions, decisions…! 🙂

Non alcoholic drinks keep getting better and better! All of the above sound fruity and highly drinkable. Non- alcoholic beer has come a long way, too.
Bryan – Agreed on all accounts! I love that cruise lines and restaurants have figured out how to quench the thirsts of sober folks, too!
These all sound absolutely delcious. They really know how to do it right. I love these because you can enjoy cocktails and still be clear-headed to enjoy all the other fun.
So true! And so much more fun than a club soda with lime!
