Historic Main Street

Historic Main Street is a walkable mecca of fun things for the whole family to explore. Many of Park City’s best restaurants are located along this darling town’s main thoroughfare.

Be on the lookout for eight Main Street icons during your stroll, like Loosey the Moose, the last remaining moose on display from a 2003 fundraiser to benefit the Kimball Art Center. For a classic Park City photo op, be sure to stop by the Bear Bench, featuring Franz the bronze bear.

Egyptian Theatre

Built on the location of Park City’s former opera house dating back to the late 1800s, the Egyptian Theatre features live performances of all sorts. Go here for live rock concerts, plays, musicals, stand-up comedy and dance performances. All shows are reserved seating so you may want to take a peek at what will be playing while you’re in town and purchase tickets in advance.

Park City Museum

Today Park City is known as a ski town – but did you know it was once home to the world’s greatest silver mine? The Park City Museum gives visitors a glimpse into the town’s mining and skiing past. Ask for a scavenger at the front desk for an interactive way to explore the museum with kids. Make sure to give your family some time to explore their gift shop, too – it’s full of all sorts of fascinating finds! Also located in the museum is a Visitor Center, staffed by friendly and knowledgeable locals.

Jupiter Bowl

Warm up with a friendly game of bowling at hip, modern Jupiter Bowl. For a multigenerational vacation, or any larger group, consider booking Club Jupiter with four private lanes just for you. There are 12 other public lanes, plus a plethora of video games to please the kids. Mom and Dad will appreciate the full-service bar. The food was the tastiest I’ve had at a bowling alley, that’s for sure!
