10 Reasons to Stay at Embassy Suites Huntsville

Huntsville, Alabama, earned its Rocket City nickname in the 1950s when it became the rocket research and building hub for NASA. Today astronaut wannabes come to the city to attend Space Camp or at least tour the impressive U.S. Space & Rocket Center. Of course, there’s much more to do in Huntsville than learn about rocket science. And there’s one hotel that’s ideally situated to explore it all. Let’s countdown to take off with these 10 reasons to stay at Embassy Suites Huntsville by Hilton Hotel & Spa.

10. Ideal location in Huntsville.

Buckle up because Embassy Suites Huntsville is the perfect launching pad to explore all this sweet town has to offer. Just steps from Embassy Suites Huntsville is the picturesque Big Spring Park. Wander through this green space along the water right into downtown Huntsville. From there you explore the town’s restaurants and shops, like the old fashioned U.G. White Mercantile. If you’re coming to Huntsville for a conference, this hotel makes the obvious choice since it is attached to the Von Braun Center via skybridge.

Additionally, their shuttle drivers are happy to escort you anywhere within a three-mile radius of the hotel, which includes the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and the expansive Huntsville Botanic Garden. 7. A home away from home.

After a day of play, it’s nice to come back to a homey space where everyone in your travel party can spread out and relax. All of the rooms at Embassy Suites Huntsville feature a living room with couch and armchair. Plus they have a small dining table, a mini refrigerator for storing snacks and drinks, a microwave for heating up leftovers, a sink and coffee maker. For bigger families or groups, you can upgrade for even more living space. A television in the living room plus a TV in the bedroom mean that kids can watch SpongeBob while parents watch the news or a movie in the other room.

5. Free evening reception.

One of my favorite things about staying at Embassy Suites is their complimentary evening receptions. Belly up to the bar for a free glass of wine, beer, cocktail, soda or juice. Then fill up your plate with snackies like chips and salsa, cubed cheese, veggies and dip, and more.

2. Spa time!

I’ve stayed at many Embassy Suites properties over the years but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one with a spa…until now. That’s right, Spa Botanica at Embassy Suites Huntsville will take your vacation to whole new level of relaxation with a massage, facial, body treatment or mani-pedi. Especially tempting are their Chocolate Therapy treatments.

1. Suites for all.

A good night’s sleep is the key to blasting off on a great vacation! Thankfully Embassy Suites Huntsville offers two-room suites for all guests. That means better sleep, especially when traveling with kids. Bedrooms come equipped with two double beds or a king bed. Plus, there’s a pull-out sleeper sofa in the living area. Best of all, there’s a door between the two rooms, which means more privacy and better rest.
