Advertising Inquiries

• Banner ads run on every page of the site.
• Ads can run for as short as one month, with discounts given for placing an ad for two or six months.
• I do not offer text ads.
• Learn more about reader statistics and placing an ad on Travel Mamas.

Travel Sponsorship

Content Submissions

• Travel Mamas is currently seeking guest bloggers to write articles for the site.
• Travel Mamas will provide a link to the guest blogger's site as well as a brief biography. Accepted stories will appear on the Travel Mamas home page for approximately one week and reside indefinitely on the Travel Mamas Blog page. A link to the story will also be provided in one bimonthly Travel Mamas e-newsletter.
• Writers should have past writing experience.
• Posts should be approximately 600-800 words.
• All material must be completely original (never printed or posted elsewhere). After the story goes live, the story should not be reprinted on other websites because this hurts search engine optimization for both parties.
• Photos are encouraged, especially those of the destination, the story’s author, and any children mentioned in the story. Please provide captions.
• The story should be based on the author’s own experiences and interviews, not on information gathered from other websites and blogs, although links to other sites within the story are welcome. 
• As the editor, I may make edits to the story based on Travel Mamas style and grammar standards, but I will not change the overall feel and meaning of the story. 
• Not all writers will be a good match for Travel Mamas, but you are encouraged to send in your story idea. Email to info@travelmamas.com.
• Check back to enter a submission for a future Travel Mamas Blog Contest.
• You can also send us a link to your travel-related blog to be featured on our Favorite Travel Blogs page.

Resource Submissions and Product Reviews

• If you would like to recommend a resource to add to our site, email me at info@travelmamas.com.
• I am happy to test relevant products or services and recommend them to my site's visitors, if I find them to be useful to traveling families.

Giveaway Sponsorship

• Travel Mamas offers giveaways to coincide with feature blog posts.
• Giveaways are featured on the Travel Mamas home page for one to two weeks and in at least one e-newsletters. Giveaways are tweeted about on Twitter by @TravelMamas and posted on the Travel Mamas Facebook Fan Page. Additionally, I list the giveaways on such contest sites as Prizey.net and Online-Sweepstakes.com. Bigger prize contests run two weeks, while smaller prize contests run one week.
• Site visitors enter the giveaways by posting comments on the featured blog or by submitting additional entries (such as by tweeting about the contest on Twitter). Winners are selected at random using Random.org.
• Typically, the more valuable the prize, the more the contest is promoted by Travel Mamas. The sponsor provides the prize to the giveaway winner. Prizes should coincide with a topic of value to traveling parents. Here are a few samples of such blog post giveaways:
